A minimum four-hour journey covering some 13 kilometres, this exhilarating trek commences at the Remarkable Rocks and follows the rolling hills along the coast, with views of the wild ocean below, all the way to Cape Younghusband.
Spot fur seals playing in the shallows or sunbathing on the warm rocks. Inland, the environment changes dramatically to a low cathedral of mallee forests, providing cool sanctuary for birds and wildlife – and perhaps an echidna hiding among the yakkas!
Return along the scenic clifftop, past the tempting Southern Spa to the lodge and a warm welcome.
The hike can be undertaken with a guide on a private basis, or self-guided given fitness and favourable weather. Another option is to start the walk as part of the signature ‘Wonders of KI’ tour of the Flinders Chase National Park, leaving the lodge vehicle at Remarkable Rocks and returning on foot.
This bespoke experience operates on a limited share basis for an exclusive safari feel, or may be undertaken on a self-guided basis from the Remarkable Rocks on the KI Wonders tour. Additional charges apply as shown.
