James and Hayley Baillie are committed to the environment and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Southern Ocean Lodge and its surrounds. In the development of concepts for the Lodge, they have negotiated widely with many groups and organisations. Baillie Lodges proposes to offer the remaining 99 per cent of the site, unused in the Lodge construction, to the State in a Heritage Agreement to preserve this important wilderness area.
